More about the event

We start the event with yoga, to allow you to warm up your body, to lengthen, stretch and activate your whole body, including your muscles, nervous system and all your chakra’s, getting your body receptive for the pranayama, meditation and sound bath to follow.

Next comes the pranayama overlaid with meditation to help you get relaxed and focused by making yourself comfortable with cushions, mats and blankets and allow yourself to be present. Then we move on to an immersive sound bath, they are a wonderful way to start your experience with sound therapy.

The session ends with a short period of silence to allow the changes to settle in the body as it is a magical time as all the frequencies to integrate.

What is a Sound bath?

In general, a sound bath is a immersive meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources.

The music doesn’t have a catchy melody or rhythm like you’d experience at a rock concert or symphony, but instead is a carefully selected wash of instrument and/or voice with notable resonance and overtones.

What do I get from this experience?

Combining yoga, pranayama, meditation and sound baths is a healthy way to deal with stress, anxiety and feeling generally overwhelmed. It is a peaceful space to relax and let go, so that you allow your body and energy systems to start to heal themselves. It gives you an opportunity to forget your problems and bathe in feelings of joy and bliss.
