We love a stir fry, 5 minutes prep and 10 minutes cooking. So dinner is quick and you’ll be pleased with the flavours
Serves 2
Ingredients:
3 garlic cloves, crushed
3cm fresh ginger, grated or finely chopped
3 tsp Sambal Oelek (chilli sauce)
2 tsp tamari or soy sauce
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp mirin
300g seafood selection (we used prawns, squid and scallops)
1 red onion, sliced
1 carrot, julienned
1 broccoli stalk, split into small florets
150g mushrooms, sliced
3 spring onions, sliced length ways
1 small red chilli
How to:
Mix the garlic, ginger, sambal oelek, tamari, cayenne pepper, maple syrup and mirin then add the seafood and mix well.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the onions for 2 minutes, then add broccoli and carrots for another 2 minutes, then and the seafood and sauce for another 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms and chilli for another 2 minutes. Lastly add the spring onions, stir in and after the spring onions have softened it’s time to plate up.
Top with black sesame seeds, or any seeds you have in the cupboard and one last thing: ENJOY!
