Tortilla Triangles

Updated: Apr 6, 2022

Are you looking for an alternative to crackers to serve with Dips, then try these. If you don’t have all the spices suggested, don’t worry, use what you have (provided they go together, think of food flavourings, thai 7 spice would work, salt and balsamic vinegar might not as vinegar will wet the tortillas)

Preheat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas mark 4

Take one tortilla and cut it in half, then in half again, then cut each quarter into 3. So you will have 12 triangles. (Repeat if you need more triangles, 1 tortilla is a goodsize for 1 person for lunch) Put them on a baking tray and drizzle with oil (use a brush to wipe the oil in)

Next, make up a spice mix to sprinkle over the tortilla triangles. This is limited by your imagination! I mixed Smoked Paprika, Cumin, Garlic granules and Celery salt (1/2 tsp of each).  Once you have sprinkled, put in the pre-heated oven for 7-8 minutes. Great served with Dips with Crudites (such Carrots, Celery, Pepper)

I used gluten free Sweet potato tortillas in this recipe, but other options will work just as well.
